Businesses and non-profits located in the Downtown York Business Improvement District are invited to join Downtown Inc at the third FREE workshop of the 2018 Business Series presented by PNC.
Employment Law 101: What Your Organization Needs to Know to Avoid Employment Law Issues
Whether your organization has 1 employee or 1,000, there are multiple federal and state laws that impact how you manage your employees. Join CGA employment attorney Christine Nentwig to learn more about the laws governing sexual harassment, discrimination, wage and hour and employee disabilities and medical conditions and more. Plus, Nentwig will discuss practical steps businesses of all sizes should take to avoid liability.
The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m., but doors open at 8 a.m. to allow time for networking and the placement of business materials.
It will be held at the York College Center for Community Engagement, 59 E. Market St., York, PA 17401. Please enter through the Duke Street entrance. Thank you to York College for providing space for the event.
Please RSVP via Eventbrite by 12 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, to secure your seat. While the Business Series is geared toward Downtown York businesses, anyone is welcome to attend.
There is no charge, but a ticket is required to prepare materials and refreshments.
The closest available parking facility is the Market Street Garage.
